FireFox Download Day!
By David Brown | June 17, 2008
So today marks the 3rd release of the FireFox browser! I’m excited and can’t wait to get my hands on a copy of FF3! As many of you know (those of you that listen to our show and or know me personally) I get physically nervous when I open up InternetExploder AKA Internet Explorer! Firefox is an amazing browser… plain and simple. If you have been waiting to try it, or putting off trying it… TODAY is the day to put your excuses aside and become part of a Guinness Book World Record!
Sounds like a good deal, right? All you have to do is get Firefox 3 during Download Day to help set the record for most software downloads in 24 hours - it’s that easy. We’re not asking you to swallow a sword or to balance 30 spoons on your face, although that would be kind of awesome.
So give it a whirl! Simply click on the cute fox in the left hand portion of this post and start viewing the web the way it was intended to be viewed!

The funny thing is that I had downloaded FF 3 on the 17th because I was having some problems with a video card that doesn’t have a driver for Vista but still works. FF 2 would blank out images. I was about to delete FF but instead decided to see if there were any updates on FF and to my surprise FF 3 was out. I wasn’t even aware of it, but I had become part of that Guinness Book statistic. BTW, the update to FF 3 solved the image issue.
