Alright… I’ve been putting this blog post off for days! Partially because I don’t want to come off as one of those lame self-promoting ‘guru’ types. Only problem is… if I don’t do it, no one else is going to. I probably need to hire a full time ghost writer #justsayin. This last week has been a HUGE learning curve for yours truly, I’ve always been aware of the affiliate market place, never really been a fan…. Because most of the crap you see out there, as a real marketer, you know is crap. Just seperating some poor schmoe from his hard earned dollar!
So, when I was contacted to put together an informational product (SEO 101 Video Training) I was more than a bit leery. What did it for me was the Producer behind the inquiry. He has a TV show coming out next month on National Geographic, that you’ve probably seen me pushing on FaceBook this summer! Anyways long story short I flew down to Utah back in 2008 – spent a day in the studio, with several, several, several takes! Even had a ‘make up’ lady (*this is the 1 and only time I’ve ever worn makeup and I refused lipstick! #fortherecord) Came back home and hadn’t really thought about it much…. Until 3 weeks ago when the producer called me up.
So here’s the deal, I’m not going to pitch anyone on this site… never have and I don’t plan on starting now. I do know that a lot of our SEO 101 podcast Listeners read our blog, and have followed our tutelage over the last 7 years… So what I’ll ask is that you take a look at it and let me know what you think in the comments below! You know what I’m doing right? I’m handing you the ‘Sharing Stick’ there’s no judgement, and you’re free to say whatever is on your mind!
The only other notes of interest that came from this would be:
A. We’re dusting off our mic’s and starting up the SEO 101 podcast again (oh oh oh oh…. we got the Blu-Ray & DVD guy from the movies to do our intro!) It’s freaking awesome… check that bad boy out (it’s on the landing page under the SEO 101 Podcast bit / logo) OR if I did this right… you should be able to listen to it right here!
B. We started an Affiliate program (through ClickBank) There’s a link to the Affiliate page at the bottom of the main page. (I would love to hear from any Affiliates what they think of what we did there.)
