For those of you who haven’t heard of Google’s new +1 Feature here is the rundown: its seemingly very similar to the Facebook “Like” feature . You can click on Google Search Engine Results Page and “+1″ it will supposedly lend your personal seal of approval to the site that received the +1.

Trip Advisor Hacked

When I woke up this morning and did my normal bleary eyed iPhone email check I was greeted with a warning from Trip Advisor that there was a potential security breach in their databases.The message cautioned that my email address had been compromised and that I should be careful when viewing any email that alleged to be from Trip Advisor.

A couple of nights ago my Final fantasy 9 retro gaming night was derailed by a frantic call from a friend.

My friend Adam had been applying for every position he could find listed and had been accepted as an assistant manager at a small business. The night before his first day of training Adam’s new boss called with some disturbing news. The boss had searched Adams name and Alma matter on Google and had found some very derogatory postings about Adam.
