First Day of Sessions
Woke up at the crack of dawn anticipating the first round of sessions. I took the tram to the convention center and on the way I did a little background on the keynote speaker David Pogue. David is an accomplished author having published more than 30 times in the non-fiction realm and 2 times as a fiction writer.

Getting to PubCon 2010
The journey to Las Vegas was quick and relatively painless. A few cocktails on the flight from Bellingham Wa to McCarran Airport really helped with the flight anxiety. After collecting our bags we grabbed a limo and set off towards the hotel. While walking out each of us made a point of placing a bet at one of the larger slot machines to properly grease the cogs of fate and prep our Vegas luck.

A question I often find myself asking clients is this “When is the best time to plant a shade tree?” The correct answer is 20 years ago!
Which I always follow up with a second question… “When is the second best time to plant a shade tree?” TODAY! The reason I’m even bothering to blog about this is because it just keeps coming up over and over and over and…well you get the point.
