I wanted to take a quick minute here and make sure that all of our readers were aware of our new service…. It’s called TweetMe located at http://tw33t.me - Now for those of you new to Twitter you may be saying… ah another twitter app! Just what we need. Well it’s a little different, as my experiment w/ my Tweeple video ran from Oct 2nd to present I’ve since had 5k+ views to the video and almost as many comments about the video.

Not a webmaster? Still want to have your very own twitter welcome video? Yeah we got that! Tw33t Me is a simple solution… an online business card for your social media types that want to be able to drop some links (up to 5 - and they’re do-follow) And easily add all of your other social media references to the page. Now I know the site is not ‘pretty’ yet - we’re working on that! So as promised I made a second video showing exactly how I’m responding to all new followers… Keep in mind I made the video to keep everyone happy w/ the fact they decided to follow me! It was just a test and I’ve had over 200+ positive responses to the idea so far… so here’s the steps… make a short video - post it to youtube… create a page for it… then when someone new follows you… send them the video as a pseudo introduction

So first I’d like to start this post with a big THANK YOU! To everyone for all the positive feed back for the “How To Become A Twitter Rock Star…Sort of” post I did over at the work blog! So far I’m getting two main questions from all the emails / comments / and dm’s (those are direct messages on Twitter)

1. Can you explain how to do the greasemonkey script better? I’m confused!
2. Great video - How are you sending out the replies? Is it an auto script of some sort?

So… I figured what better way to show you what I’m doing… then use this fancy Camstasia Studio I bought a long, long, time ago… w/ the intent of producing some handy how-to videos… I think I worked all the bugs out w/ my software and I have the first one up… I know the production quality isn’t that great… but bare w/ me on my learning curve and I swear they’ll get better… so w/o further ado… enjoy (btw the video is about 1 beer long)

Alright I figured I’d post a real quick one… don’t have much to say today, as I spent a good part of my day writing the “How to become a Twitter Rockstar - Sort of…“  post yesterday.  The Martin Bowling Zima Meme has brought about a Zi.ma URL shortening service that our dev guys made a WP plugin for & just put the finishing touches on… So here’s what should happen… I publish this post and my favorite 700 tweeple (the tweeps following me) should get an auto post to my twitter acct. ****This is only a Test**** but the video is funny so if you haven’t seen it… check it out!
